Everything your company files, in one place.

A limited company can save you tax and keeps your personal money separate, but it comes with more paperwork. HMRC and Companies House both expect statutory accounts every year, plus a company tax return even when there's no profit.

We prepare your accounts to UK accounting standards, so they give a true picture of the business, and send them to you to check. Once you've approved them, we file them for you.

You also get easy accounting software at no extra cost, unlimited advice from your own accountant and a reminder before every deadline.

  • Annual accounts filed at Companies House
  • Company tax return (CT600) prepared and sent
  • Confirmation statement filed each year
  • Your director's self assessment return

The questions people ask us most. If yours isn't here, ring us and you'll get a straight answer.

A company that exists separately from the people who own it. Its money and its debts belong to the company, which protects your personal finances if the business goes through a hard time. It also carries on if a shareholder retires or resigns.

As long as there's been no fraud, you aren't personally liable for the company's losses. That protection is one of the main reasons people set up a company.

A private company has 9 months from the end of its financial year to file accounts at Companies House. A new company's first accounts are due 21 months after the date it was set up.

For most small companies, 9 months and 1 day after the end of the accounting period. The company tax return (CT600) is due 12 months after the end of the period. They're separate deadlines, and HMRC charges interest if you pay late.

Yes. When HMRC sends the company a notice to file (form CT603), you must send a return even if there's no profit or tax to pay. Late returns get penalties.

A yearly check that Companies House has the right details for your company, such as its officers, shareholders and registered office. You file one at least once every 12 months, within 14 days of the end of your review period. Companies House charges £110.

Yes. Since 18 November 2025, directors and people with significant control must verify their identity with Companies House. Existing directors give their personal code with the company's next confirmation statement. We can verify you as an authorised agent.

Pensions, dividends and company cars all have their own rules, and the right mix can save you tax. We look at how you pay yourself and tell you what works best for you.

Yes. We can form the company for you and register it with HMRC for corporation tax, so it's ready to trade.

Yes. We prepare and send your VAT returns if you're registered, and run the company payroll if you have staff. Both can be added to your package.
